On Saturday, April 13, 2019, Prima Medika Hospital again held a medical seminar titled "Recognize and Prevent Thalassemia with Resource Persons from Dr. Ketut Ariawati, Sp.A (K). At this seminar participants were given various information about Thalassemia, as well as ways prevention because Thalassemia is a hereditary disease (genetic disorder) due to abnormal red blood cells, and thalassemia is not at all contagious.
It is expected that in this seminar participants can convey to the general public the importance of preventing this disease and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, so that this disease can be prevented.
