Thyroid disorder is a medical condition in which the thyroid hormone produced by our body is not in accordance with normal conditions. Thyroid hormone has an important role in maintaining our body's metabolism. Thyroid disorder itself is also common in our population, it can be in conditions of hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism or malignancy, but the screening and treatment rates are quite low.
To increase knowledge about thyroid disorders and screening for thyroid disorders, Prima Medika Hospital in collaboration with PT.Merck, Tbk, Inspirasien and Pita Tosca held a Thyroid Talkshow and Screening event for the general public with the theme: "Protecting Thyroid, Maintaining Quality of Life".
