Know the risk factors of glaucoma

Glaucoma is known as the leading preventable cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. Prompt diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma can prevent vision problems from appearing, but unfortunately there are still many people who are not aware that they are experiencing one of the symptoms of glaucoma or may not have sufficient access to the health services they need.
World Glaucoma Week is a health campaign action to raise awareness of glaucoma. This activity is held for one week every year in March by countries around the world.
