Happy World Childhood Cancer Day 2023

Each year, more than 400,000 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer, with survival rates depending on the region of the country concerned. International Childhood Cancer Day is celebrated around the world every February 15th. In 2023, the theme being carried is 'Better Survival' is Achievable #throughtheirhands. The message behind the theme is intended as an appreciation to families and caregivers who contribute to the daily life of children with cancer so that it has a positive impact on their lives.

The commemoration of World Childhood Cancer Day aims to always remind the public and medical personnel about the importance of early diagnosis in children who are suspected of having clinical symptoms. 'Better Survival' is Achievable #throughtheirhands February 15th INTERNATIONAL CHILDHOOD CANCER DAY 2023, cancer. Early diagnosis of cancer in children tends to be more difficult than in adults because children are often hampered from conveying what they feel. Early diagnosis of cancer in children can lead to better treatment outcomes and save the lives of children with cancer. In addition to increasing awareness of early diagnosis, commemoration of World Childhood Cancer Day is also to better understand the burden of cancer felt by children with cancer so that we can provide the best medical care for children with cancer. WHO's goal is to eliminate all the pain and suffering felt by children with cancer and achieve at least a 60% survival rate for all children diagnosed with cancer worldwide by 2023.
