USG (Ultra Sound) is a diagnostic imaging technique using high frequency sound waves to see internal body structure. The most common uses for ultrasound is breast and abdominal imaging. It is also used for core biopsies, fine needle aspiration, head and neck nodes, superficial lesions, localization of breast hook out, pleural pleura and ascites and abscess drainage.
