There are many things that we have to take care of in our daily lives so that kidney function can continue to function properly. Kidney disease is a non-communicable disease with a high mortality rate in the world's population.
In the course of the disease, there are conditions that can return, but there are also conditions that require lifelong treatment because kidney function has decreased significantly. In emergency situation, people with kidney disease are among the most vulnerable in the population because their condition requires appropriate, ongoing, and consistent care. Seeing these conditions, this year's World Kidney Day raised the theme “KIDNEY HEALTH FOR ALL! Preparing for the Unexpected, Supporting the Vulnerable!”. This theme was raised to increase public awareness and policy makers about the impact that can occur during local and global disaster events on people with chronic diseases, especially chronic kidney patients.
